Pork Breakfast Sausage

1/2 onion, chopped (optional: caramelized in bacon grease)
2 lbs ground pork
1 tsp sage
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tbsp maple syrup
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp thyme

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
Form into thin patties. 
Cook on grill or frying pan on 5 min each side.

Makes 30 patties, each 1 block protein 2 blocks fat
