Real Fitness.
To us, real fitness is more than a physical state of being or appearance. Real fitness encompasses the physical, the mental, the spiritual, and the emotional. Real fitness is evident in everything you do, from the way you work to the way you walk, play, eat, and dress. Physical training is one of the methods by which development and reinforcement of positive character traits occurs. Traits such as confidence, honor, perseverance, discipline, courage, integrity, responsibility, dedication, and joy. Training also acts to reduce stress and anxiety, and has benefits far reaching beyond the quantifiable. Real fitness feels good, inspires you and others, adds both years and richness to your life. Real fitness is accessible to anyone, regardless of age, experience, and ability level, that is willing to work for it. There is no magic pill. People that have real fitness experience life the way it was meant to be experienced.
Real Athletics.
How come gymnasts have huge strong biceps, without ever doing a bicep curl? How can powerlfiters squat 900 pounds even though they never sit on the leg extension, leg curl, or adduction/abduction machine? Weight machines were created to isolate the movement of one muscle in your body. Your body rarely uses one muscle at a time independently of all others in real life, so while you may be getting bigger biceps, you are functionally less strong. Can you imagine throwing a ball by moving just your forearm? From a seated position? When you exercise sitting or lying down, you effectively shut down all of the stabilization and coordination of your body that you use in real life and sport. We use exercises that require many muscle groups to work together and place large demands on your nervous and muscular systems. Bodyweight exercises challenge you to be strong and agile, while weightlifting exercises require technique and skill.
Real Nutrition.
What you eat affects everything - your mind, body, performance, and many times emotions. Why spend time and money chasing real fitness, if you continue to eat foods that don’t support your health and vitality? Accountable, Consistant, Easy. Our diet and nutrition programs use all three of these keys to help you improve your diet. Accountability ensures you do what you say you will. Consistancy is necessary, as eating one good meal a day will not go far towards improving your health. Easiness allows you to follow your nutritional guidelines at home, out at a restauraunt, or while traveling on the road.
