In March 2014 I decided to go to Element CrossFit and 6 months later I’m glad I did. I had never seen or done a CrossFit workout I only had friends from University that experienced and loved them tell me stories about it. I joined Element CrossFit in January. Sarah was my Coach, introduced herself and took the time to get to know me. We discussed my CrossFit goals, my strengths, weaknesses and what I felt I needed more practice with. After going over a few lifts and a mini met-con, I knew I needed to make the switch!! Coming from another gym and training there for over a year I thought I knew everything I needed to know. Turns out my movement patterns weren’t looking the greatest, and Sarah – my coach for life – took the time to go over all the various movements in our private sessions and stayed on top of my form (which is so important)!
